The mold needs to go through multiple trial molds and repeated modifications before it can be completed. In order to improve the stability of the mold and avoid losses due to problems that should not occur, precision stamping manufacturers have summarized the stamping process based on the rich experience accumulated in production practice. When the factory debugs the stamping part mold, it should pay attention to 10 aspects:
1. The strips used for mold testing should be kept straight and free of impurities in the length direction;
2. The grades and mechanical properties of stamping parts used in mold testing must meet the requirements specified in the product drawings;
3. When testing the mold, the stamping part mold should be used on the required designated equipment. When installing the die, it must be installed firmly;
4. The strip width used in the test mold should also meet the requirements stipulated in the process regulations;
5. Before the stamping mold is debugged, it is first necessary to conduct a comprehensive inspection of the punching die, and it can be installed on the press after the inspection is correct;
6. Each movable part of the die should be lubricated with lubricant before the die test;
7. Before testing the mold, check whether the unloading and ejector are flexible;
8. Look at the cutting edge of the punching die. It should be sharpened and trimmed in advance, and the uniformity of some gaps must be checked first; it can be installed on the press after it is confirmed to be suitable;
9. The stamping part at the beginning of the mold trial should be carefully inspected. If it is found to be unqualified or the mold is not moving normally, it must be stopped immediately for inspection;
10. There are generally no less than 20 pieces of products after mold trial, and they should be kept properly so as to serve as the basis for delivery of molds.
